
CALL FOR PAPERS
Following the success of the biennial INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING (ICELT) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2012 and 2014, we would like to warmly welcome you to ICELT 2016 on 21-22 October 2016. ICELT 2016 aims to provide an international forum for academics, administrative staff, and graduate students to exchange knowledge and expertise, share experience and research outputs, and update current trends and future developments in ESL/EFL learning and teaching.

We invite abstract submission for theoretical and empirical paper and poster presentations and roundtable discussions about current issues, innovations, and new trends in all ELT's areas of expertise. Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Language teaching, learning, and assessment
- Teaching: methods/techniques in teaching different courses (e.g. Language skills, Literature, Translation, ESP); teaching young, adolescent, and adult learners; Linguistics and language teaching; intercultural communication in language teaching.
- Learning: approaches to promote learning; learner autonomy; motivation; learning styles; lifelong learning.
- Assessment: testing; formative assessment; alternative assessment methods; formative feedback; assessment for lifelong learning.
2. Curriculum and materials development: curriculum and materials design, implementation, and evaluation; lesson planning; developing materials for different groups of learners; developing specific types of materials.
3. ICT in language teaching; incorporating ICT into the English curriculum, teaching, and learning; e-learning; social networks.
4. Management in ELT: policies; program management; accreditation and quality assurance; professional development.
Conference papers will be printed in ICELT2016 Proceedings.
Selected conference papers will be edited and published in a book with ISBN. As such, please ensure that the paper has not been previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere and that you have the right to grant publishing authority.
